“Let it be” – Beatles. This song talks about how broken and beat up people can overcome anything if they let it be. Don’t try to deny your situation, try to overcome it.
“Don’t Stop Believin” – Journey, This talks about how you have to believe to persevere. If you don’t believe in yourself you won’t succeed.
“Roar” – Katy Perry. This talks about others pushing you down. But you get right back up and make some noise and overcome them.
“Let It Go” – Idina Menzel. This song talks about you letting go of things that hold you back. Drop what holds you back from success.
“Remember the Name” – Fort Minor. This song talks about how people can make something out of nothing. Specifically poor people can make a name for themselves.
“Eye of the Tiger” – Survivor. This song talks about taking adversity head on. Taking on the challenge that is adversity.
“Forever” – Drake. This song is about those who were given nothing. But fight through adversity to make things better and become successful.
“This is America” – Childish Gambino. This talks about how racial profiling is still a thing today in society. And how for a black man they go through challenges some white men never even have to think of.
